In 2012, the new industry-oriented RoboCup Logistics League was founded to tackle the problem of production logistics. A number of mobile robots have to take (semi-finished) products through a simulated production process. In this paper we show some of the challenges of this league and discuss how this league could be developed into a Benchmark for intelligent logistics robots.
